Donna L. who is an active member of the FFDSC, French Fashion Doll Sewing Club at FrenchFashionDollSewingClub@groups.io shared her talent with us using our NURSE UNIFORM pattern shown on her Barrois doll made by Jackie Chimpky. What better opportunity then now to give a shout out to the nurses in the forefront helping us during these difficult times.

Sylvia W.,also a avid member of the FFDSC, French Fashion Doll Sewing Club, who has shared her talent with us so many times in the past, showed us her creativity which is second to none. Her Barrois, Philippe is standing next to his horse Galileo and Foxhound Duke as they are getting ready to go fox hunting.
Her male Barrois doll was made by Suzanne McBrayer. Sylvia used our Decorated SOLDIER PATTERN by Jackie Chimpky as a starting point for Philippe's suit.

REGRETFULLY, ON A MUCH MORE SOLEMN NOTE....
We would be remiss if we did not take the time to reflect on the losses this past week of two extraordinary women who have helped to shape the doll world for more years than we can reflect on.....

With much difficulty, the loss of my dear and cherished friend, Diane Hoffman (shown above) doll dealer, collector, educator, owner of Turn of the Century Antiques in Denver, Colorado and beloved by all. People like Diane come along far and few in one's lifetime and her friendship was a true blessing. Our deepest heartfelt condolences to the Hoffman family. As many of you know our virtual guru, Rachel of the VDC, is Diane's daughter. Paul Hoffman, Diane's son is someone who has been helped so many doll related organizations with his photography talent. May they find strength and comfort during this difficult time.

Our sincere heartfelt sympathy to the family of Bleuette master sewnstress, educator and author, Agnes Sura (shown above) who was a pioneer in the world of Bleuette. Agnes gave us the publication, "Bleuette's World", which is still well respected and referred to by Bleuette lovers today.
Let's hope we only share in happiness and good times together in the future!!
Stay safe, healthy and let's play dolls!
