Dear Family and Friends,
We opened abaTina Boutique in August of 2004 and have enjoyed 16 years of bringing wonderful items and exceptional service to our growing community. Building this business has been one of our greatest joys and proudest accomplishments. What was once only a pipe dream and an occasional “what if” conversation has became a beautiful shop, a thriving business, and a chosen shopping destination.
Over the years, we’ve developed deep friendships and lasting connections with so many of our dear customers. We love helping you find just the right gift for that aunt who doesn’t need anything, that adorable book & buddy for the newest grandbaby, or that pick-me-up for a friend who’s been having a particularly rough time. We’re talked about books, gardens, children, travel, and health scares. You’ve invited us into your lives, and we will always cherish those conversations and connections.
We’ve enjoyed traveling to trade shows in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and New York City to find the best gifts and apparel to share with you. We worked really hard at those shows, but we managed to find time for a little fun, too. Catching “Hamilton” on Broadway or taking a hot air balloon ride over the Nevada desert are both proven ways to rest weary feet at the end of a long day.
After years of building this business and nurturing this community, we’ve decided that it’s time to move on.
We are looking to hand the reins over to a new buyer who will take what we’ve built, bring their own unique charms to it, and propel abaTina Boutique to even greater heights.
If you, or a group of you, have ever dreamed of owning your own boutique, the timing of our decision couldn’t be better. We are just about to enter the most profitable time of year for retail, and we have done all the hard work to ensure you have a strong fourth quarter. The transfer will be easy, and you can immediately step in and enjoy the best season of the year.
Don’t really know that much about retail and how to run a successful business? That’s okay! We didn’t either, but we do now, and we’re eager to share all that we’ve learned along the way. You get the benefit of everything already being in place for your success.
