Here’s a fun and easy project!!!
do you have some furniture you want to look old?
Goopy Paint to the Rescue!
1. Paint on one of the 8 Goopy Paint Colours right on bear wood or over water-based paint. Paint it on as goopy or as smooth as you like. You can use it in areas that you want the different Colour to show thru or on the entire piece.
2. Let it dry completely. If you put it on very thick, it will take longer to dry.
3. When completely dry paint your top coat of regular Old Village paint in a different Colour. Either from the vintage, buttermilk or Provence line and allow to dry completely.
4. When completely dry sand down the bumpy areas smooth. This will reveal the goopy paint Colour. Making it look like layers of paint over the years.
5. Top off with the antiquing liquid in either Brown or Black.
6. Sit back and enjoy your work!
Note: You can also stencil with the goopy paint for a raised print and paint over for a very real looking antique look! See pictures below!
