If you wandered into our area last week, you probably noticed colorful bold blooms popping up in the windows and spilling out onto our sidewalk! We were excited to have photographer Leisa Thompson stop by to capture the work in progress. It's in preparation for the socially distanced FoolMoon Stroll + Roll which will take place throughout downtown this Friday, April 9, from 6-10pm.
Found choose a Moon Garden theme for this year's event. Olivia Guterson aka @MidnightOlive, created beautiful florals for our windows - plus a stunning group of lanterns, in collaboration with Laura Earle @lumenality.studio. I love her artist statement for this installation: "Inspired by the intersection of curiosity and hope these lanterns and glowing patterns are an invitation to experience the presence of light as a source of inspiration, peace, and wonder." Those are the things I'm craving as we emerge from a long winter.

Just outside our windows, Fiona Thursby is working some chalk and milk magic into a fantastic sidewalk mural. Inspired by the Kerrytown flower logo, she'll be adding more this week. It just makes me so happy each time I peek outside!
And Michael Smothers is filling his time creating luminaries for the garden area by our entrance - giant tulips, colorful mushrooms, a slithering snail. He's also encouraging the rest of Team Found to join in the fun of making - and all of you to dress up, light up and do the FoolMoon Stroll and Roll.
