Hello! My name is Patricia Hayes, and I love to quilt! I am originally from Kansas, and moved to Texas in 1998. I first started quilting about 20 years ago, and after my first quilt, took a long hiatus, and started back again about 5 years ago. There were some fits and starts in between, which is where many of these quilts first got started, and then languished for a decade, or longer. I finished all of them in the past couple of years because I had some spare time.
My sewing machine of choice is my vintage Singer 301, which I take to classes and retreats. For those times when I need more than a straight stitch, I use a Janome 3160QDC.
I did the quilting on my first quilt myself, and now I rent time at Over the Top Quilting and enjoy quilting so much more!
