~ One Coat Coverage ~
See test results below ~ This is very interesting!
I took a sample of New England Red to 2 leading Paint companies and asked them to match it in their best quality paint. They added the many drops of tints to the modern day bases. They both ended up costing more than a quart of old Village Paint. And WOW!!! It surprised me! I used three of the exact same paint brushes and below is one coat of each over Chestnut which is a light cream Colour.
I ended up doing three coats on each. Old Village Covered in one coat. The one on the left covered in 3 coats but the Colour and sheen was way off. The one on the right still did not cover in 3 coats.
Bottom line: the left one is going to cost you 3 times as much as Old Village
and the one on the right will cost 4 times as much! Plus, considering labor is 80% of the cost of a paint job, Old Village is a huge savings. Not to mention you won’t have to repaint as often. Another example of the old formulas and ways are sometimes better than the new.
Save Time & Money with Old Village Paint
PLUS it will last at least 3 years longer or more!
