~ New England Red circa 1760 Home in New England ~

Kara Jund shared her wonderful property with us!

“Hello! I’ve been waiting until I finish all of my signs and until everything is just right before sending pictures,
but that may never happen. So here are some pics...
I wanted to share that I only use Old Village Paints inside & out of our Circa 1760 home in Brimfielf, MA.
We buy our paint from Johns Paint Store in Palmer, MA and Village Primitives in Sturbridge, MA.

I’ve Used Old Village Paint for the large tavern sign at the front of the property, the shop sign and all the directional sandwich board signage (thanks for the tutorial you shared!). I love your paint and share with everyone I can!!”
Kara
Thank you Kara!!!

Old Village Simulated Whitewash
Old Village Simulated Whitewash

Simulated Whitewash 1601 for gritty finish -
1604 for smooth finish

This is not a lime wash or a see thru wash.  It’s  an acrylic top quality paint formulated to a thick whitewash consistency to imitate a whitewash finish but will hold up much better and years longer outside.  While true whitewash will only last a year.  Which is why Tom Sawyer had to whitewash the fence every year.

this product was used on many Historic building restorations including Andrew Jackson’s House, the Philadelphia Art Museum and Monticello underground tunnels.
