Hello Happy Quilters!

The weather is a bit, well shall we say strange lately?  It snowed here at the Jersey early Monday morning and we awoke to 3" or so of wet, heavy stuff.  Then Wednesday it was almost 70 degrees here!  Mother Nature needs a vacation or at least a mental health day I'm thinking.

So I've been stitching away waiting for the weather to make up it's mind.  It's that funny time of year, on warm days you're itching to get into the garden but the ground is still too cold and you know you'll be sorry if you start mucking around in there and turn the soil to cement for the summer.

I'm working on a new Step Two class, something to take the beginners to the next level and also a class to strengthen piecing skills for those want that.  I'm hoping to have it ready to unveil by the end of the month . . . stay tuned!

I'm also finally ready for the Wooly Block Adventure - good thing because it started this week!  Our block is a cute little hermit crab and if you're a wool applique lover, click here for the details.

I'm also fooling around dyeing more wool - having a blast doing that! - and working on some samples for the summer.
Our sample for the 2016 NJ Shop Hop is finished, ok the pattern isn't written but I know where my notes are!  And I'm working out the details of our 2016 Row By Row Experience row and driving everyone crazy trying to describe what I want to do.  I've done one really rough drawing and it looks really good in my head.  I'm starting to collect supplies to get it out of my head and onto fabric.

I'm also stitching up a sample for a demo we'll be doing during the Shop Hop.  I love the block, I'm wondering why I made it 3" finished though - but it's easy, there's a trick!

What are you working on while you're waiting for Mother Nature to calm down and bring on Spring?
