|
RC - How did you meet Dan?
We met on a train, we used to stare at each other for over a year without saying a word until one day we bumped into one another in a lift. We later discovered that not only did we catch the same train every day, get off at the same station but we also lived off the same street, worked for the same company in the same building and he also worked for a family friends gym. So if we didn’t meet on the train, one day at some point are paths would cross. We definitely believe in fate.
RC - How did Dan propose?
Having met my husband on the train, he decided one night to show me an old train ticket that he had kept for years. As I glanced at the back of the ticket it read these beautiful words “ Take this journey through life with me, Stopping at all stations…. Will you marry me” and as I looked up he was on one knee. It was the most magical moment, one that I will never forget.
RC - Is there a particular reason as to why you chose your venue?
We wanted to get married at Farm Vigano as it is a beautiful venue instead of the typical reception, The venue for us represented family and beauty.
RC - What was your favourite part of the wedding?
As soon as we set eyes on each other as I walked down the aisle it was as if we were the only ones there. All our emotions and memories of how we got to this point came flooding in, at one point our celebrant asked us to join hands before saying our vowels but we had been holding each other’s hands from the moment we reached each other and everyone laughed. This for us was our favourite memory of our wedding day.
RC - How the dress made you feel?
The dress was exactly as I imagined it to be, French Ivory beaded lace with Swarovski Crystals and pearls over champagne satin. The way it fitted me made me feel beautiful and sexy at the same time.
RC - How was your bridal shopping experience?
I have one word for my experience, Expensive! ;) this may or may not have anything to do with the Christian Louboutin’s I purchased.
RC - Tips for brides-to-be!
Spoil yourself, this is the one day you get to feel special! So buy those Christian Louboutin shoes you have always wanted ;)
