HERE IT IS!!! CHECK OUT OUR OCTOBER 2016 CLASS SCHEDULE!
Here is a little bit of what we have planned for your OCTOBER Classes and a few updates about classes!
- MORE Wood Craft Classes...AND we have added a WOOD CRAFT Wednesday...PLUS it went to well last month that we added MORE open work times to this month!! See you then!
- Mini Books- These are still all the rage and we have a GREAT one planned this month with Nancy from Prima coming to teach us some amazing things! She will be here once again for "PRIMA EDUCATION WEEK!" We are so honored to be a chosen store!!
- Who doesn't love them some Tim Holtz? Well, he came out with these really cool Village Dies that allow you to create different houses for the seasons! Last month, and again this month, we have a Haunted Manor class where you will make an awesome haunted house to display for Halloween! And in October, we are offering a Fall Village class where you will create a house to display during the fall months! You can bet that there will also be a Holiday House too! So, be on the lookout for that class in November!!!
- Planner Meet-Up~ This is BRAND NEW for us, but we are SOOO excited about it! We have a Planner Meet Up planned for the month, on Wednesday Oct. 12th. We will talk about planner basics and get our spread ready for November!! You will get a few goodies to add to that Nov. calendar and Hannah will have a few products to play with too! WE hope you can make it and you don't have to have a Carpe Diem Planner to join the fun~ the more the Merrier!
- Make-It-Mondays~ We have SO MUCH NEW STUFF that it will be impossible to teach a class on EVERYTHING, so I came up with Make-It-Mondays! On "most" Mondays, we will have a demo/ show and tell time from 12-5. This will be a great time to stop in and see how some of the newest products work or what techniques you can do with them.
- Finally....and wait for it....we have the RETURN of KIDS CANVAS CLASSES!!! Yes you heard that right! Get those little artists ready because we have TWO great canvas choices for them this month!

| Jenn lives on Cape Cod, with her kitty Mister Harley and her boyfriend Chris. She’s been papercrafting for over 15 years, and has played multiple roles in the paper craft industry as an independent store manager, designer and teacher. With a degree in graphic design she is also Copic and Ranger certified. Jenn loves to show people new and clever ideas to design their cards and projects. She has a flair for the “artsy-fartsy” without going over the top. She designs her projects in the way to inspire, but not intimidate. Jenn is eager to share her creative passions with others and encourage their artistic growth. She currently teaches in person and online classes as well as hosts Loft Art Retreats. Wicked Fun Fall & Holiday Cards with Lawn Fawn
- Friday, Sept. 30th from 6:30-9:30pm
- Saturday, Oct. 1st from 10am-1pm (ONE SPOT LEFT)
- Saturday, Oct. 1st from 6-9pm
- Sunday, Oct. 2nd from 1-3:30pm
In this class you will create 5 handmade greetings perfect for the Fall and upcoming Holidays with whimsical Lawn Fawn images! We will be using the latest products from Lawn Fawn including stamps, dies, papers, and inks. Create with Copic (artist-grade) markers, Distress Inks, glitters and other fun supplies. - just to name a few of the techniques you will play with. This class is perfect for all levels, even if you have never stamped before. Cost: $30
Distress Ink Techniques for Cardmakers with Lawn Fawn
- Saturday, Oct. 1st from 2-5pm
- Sunday, Oct. 2nd from 10am-12:30pm
Make your cards bright and fun! Jenn Shurkus will be sharing practical ideas for using distress inks to create colorful backgrounds for your cards. You will create 4 handmade cards for the fall and holidays while learning different Distress Ink techniques using stencils, dies, inks, and more that will set you up for endless card-making possibilities. You’ll even learn how to bring your stamped images and backgrounds to life by using distress inks as watercolors! Cost: $30
*there will be specific distress ink pads everyone will have to bring for the distress ink class-Full size or minis will be fine!

Wood Craft Wednesdays
With SO many new choices of wood products that we are offering we simply cannot offer a class for them all!! So, Welcome Wood Craft Wednesdays!! Come in and craft with us for just $5! We will supply the paint and glue for your wood craft project, that you purchased here, while you supply the paper and any wire or other embellishments! We will be here, of course, to help you get started, but this is not a formal class. More of an open workshop. IF you are really ambitious and want to complete ANOTHER PROJECT...each additional project will be just $3. Again, this cost is for paint and glue only...no paper or embellishments are included. Craft time will be from 11-5. We will not allow anyone into the work area after 5pm, as you will not have time to finish your project before we close. We plan to have these 1-2 times each month to see how they go! |

You'll enter the BOX SALE AREA (aka the classroom...this is NOT a store wide sale! Lol- we would go out of business if it was!) and FILL IT UP with whatever goodies you want in the Box Sale Area!
This area will be "roped off" for the sale to prevent other regular priced items from accidentally leaving in someones box. Once you are finished, your box will be inspected and taped shut and you are free to shop away in the store! We did this back in July and it was AMAZING!! Everyone had a great time and got LOTS of goodies!! We have even more stuff to put in the sale this time! Mark your calendars NOW and don't miss out on some AMAZING DEALS!
