There are so many gorgeous wedding dresses on the market and while we are spoilt rotten for choice, sometimes having lots of options can actually make things more difficult. The key to getting it right is finding the ideal silhouette for your figure. If you nail this, then dress shopping becomes a dream!
You have the curves, now you need to show them off. Opt for body-hugging fit and flare gowns that will enhance your sexy silhouette. Stay away from an overabundance of ruffles and tiers around your waist.
An off-the-shoulder or bateau neckline will draw the eye across and help balance out a full bustline. A defined waistline is a must for your shape. Look for built-in corsets for needed support.

A corseted bodice will redefine your shape. Dresses with a lining also ensure a better, sleeker fit. Slimming A-line skirts are universally flattering.

Looking to add some curves? Go for gowns with added volume and details at both the chest and hips to help create the illusion of an hourglass silhouette.
An A-line gown is the perfect silhouette, as it will disguise fuller hips. Also consider dresses with textural and style details up top to balance out your proportions.

In today’s world of live Snapchatting, and constant photo updates, it’s no wonder that social media has completely taken over what used to be one of the most private and special events in a person’s life. And while this is not necessarily a bad thing (a cute wedding dance that’s gone viral? Why, yes, please.), there are tricky situations that can lead to a lot of frustration for the couple as well as their guests. So we're talking how to make sure you are not committing a social media faux pas at your next wedding celebration. #youarewelcome
1. Establish the social media rules for your wedding early on.
If there is ever a day to be selfish, it’s your wedding day. So if you don’t want people staring at a phone screen for hours, you are in your full right to ask them not to. A note with the wedding invitation would be a good starting point for that.
2. Asking guests to not post photos on social media until a certain date could be tricky.
Couples spend a lot of money on wedding photographers and it’s only normal that they’d like to wait for the official photos to come out so that they can post them on social media. While it's OK to ask your guests to hold off on the wedding snaps, it’s best to either adhere to a non-post policy completely or give in and allow your guests to post at will. Whatever you decide to do, make sure your vendors are aware of your rules. They often are ones to post photos first.
3. As a guest, always ask for permission to post photos on social media.
Nothing should be posted without asking the couple, a bride doesn't want her first wedding photos online to be unflattering.
4. When in doubt, check the bride and groom’s feeds.
Take your clues from the bride and groom, obviously if there's a hashtag and/or a social media connected photo booth, they expect you to post!
5. Enjoy the moment!
We all want that great shot to post on Instagram, but at the end of the day, no social media post is worth 1) ruining your friends’ official wedding photos by sticking up an iPad above everyone’s heads in an attempt to take a decent snap and 2) completely missing the point of a wedding which is to celebrate and enjoy the moment.

This week we interviewed #rcrealbride Melissa who married the love of her life Matt in our stunning gown by Casablanca. From the entire RC Team we wish these two a happily ever after!

RC - How did you meet Matt?
Funnily enough Matt and I met on a dating site, After many conversations we agreed to catch up for a coffee and have been inseparable ever since.
RC - How did Matt propose?
New Years Eve 2014 - I came home from work and was making something to eat in the kitchen, when I turned around Matt was behind me on his knee with the ring box and asked me to marry him, After the initial shock wore of there were tears and laughter.

RC - Is there a particular reason as to why you chose your venue?
We chose to have our wedding at Atlantic Group's venues Sketch & Sumac in the Docklands, as Matt wanted to have a beach wedding and I originally wanted a garden wedding. We both compromised and decided an indoor waterfront venue would be perfect for us. The venue itself is very modern, sophisticated and elegant which was what we were after.
RC - Your favourite part of the wedding?
My favorite part of our wedding was our first dance as Matt and I had taken a few lessons at Viva La Dance in Croydon and had a small routine. It was one of the first opportunities for us to be together and have a bit of fun, as it can be so overwhelming with so much to take in during the day.

RC - How did the dress make you feel?
The dress was simply gorgeous, I felt like a million dollars wearing it and it fit me like a glove whilst still being very comfortable.
RC - How was your bridal shopping experience?
I had a great shopping experience at RC with all of the ladies being very bubbly on my visits it made it that much more exciting. I would like to personally thank Connie whom helped me on a few occasions she was a pleasure to deal with and I will be referring any bride to be's to your store in Brunswick.

RC - Tips for brides-to-be!
I would say to those preparing to get married or planning - take it all in and don't sweat the small stuff. It is very easy to get carried away and trust me emotions run high when it is something of this magnitude. Make sure that your wishes above others are carried out as you can't do it over. Mostly though have fun and enjoy being in LOVE !
