| Bag Ladies...it's happening again! and it is tomorrow!! Yes, August has a fifth Saturday, and it is the 31st. That means that if you bring in your "special" bag, you will receive a 20% discount on whatever regular priced merchandise you can fit into it. Don't have a bag?? No worries...our new shipment has arrived. Here's what you can do. The bag price is $5 before the event. On the day of the event, bag cost is $7. Hang onto your bag, and every time there is a fifth Saturday in a month, AND, if you bring your bag with you, you will receive a 20% discount on regular merchandise that fits into the bag. Plus, there may be, in the future, "surprise" events for "Bag Ladies only." |

You will be making the six cards as shown below. Please bring your choice of coloring tools, watercolor markers, Copic pens, pencils etc. Everyone will receive the witch hat background stamp to take home.

| We are running a bit late with our September Graphic 45 calendar page and card class, kind of like the butcher that backed into his meat grinding machine and got a little behind in his work. But we are ready to roll now. The September G45 calendar layout class is Sunday, September 15, from noon-1pm, and the three-card class is the same day, from 1-4pm. The calendar class, as usual, is $10, and the card class is $12. Please be sure to pre-register. |

Introduction to Copic Coloring: Holiday Edition and House Mouse Edition
Have you wanted a bit of instruction in using your Copic markers?
I have two new classes coming up, both related to Copic markers. Each class will be limited to five students per session, so that each student has a clear view of the teacher as she demos the techniques. Each student will be required to bring the necessary Copic markers for the basic coloring, and we will share ancillary colors.
Intro to Copics-Holiday Edition:
We will learn the blending of reds and greens in a great poinsettia image, the uses of blacks and whites in a cool snowman image, and we will cover the basic "House Mouse" body in a holiday image. I will post on the calendar what Copic markers to bring, but I probably won't get that info up for another two weeks or so. Watch for it in the calendar section write-up on the website.
The first class is Wednesday, Sept. 25, 1-4pm. The other three classes are in October: Tuesday, Oct. 8, 5:30-8:30,
Thursday, October 10, 1-4pm, and Sunday, October 13, 1-4. All classes are $19. Pre-registration is required.
Intro to Copics: House Mouse Edition
We will cover the coloring on three different mice, using browns and greys, along with the necessary colors used in the image. I will post on the calendar page what Copics you should bring. We will do one holiday image (different from the "Holiday" class,) one fall image and one generic image. I will try to cover the different mice in the line. Again, class is limited to five students per session.
Classes will be $19, and held on:
Thursday evening, October 3, 5:30-8:30, and Monday, October 14 (teachers, this is a school holiday!!), 1-4pm

The canvas here in the first photo is 5 feet long. In the class you will be working on a four foot canvas. Project Life is Back...
Amiee is all ready to run some demonstrations, now that the summer is about gone. She has a few plans in the works. Beginning on Thursday, September 19, Aimee will do a monthly deom out at the demo table, each month on a new Project Life subject. The September theme is "How to use what you already have at home." Amiee will have assorted tips and tricks to share.
The demo will be followed on the next three Thursdays, 9/26, 10/3, and 10/10, by a free "Project Life"crop time from 10:30am-4pm. Please sign up ahead of time for this, as space is limited.
On October 17th, Amiee will host the monthly kit club meeting, our time for checking out the latest kit, seeing some new techniques from amiee, sharing what you want to share with the gang there, and having some creative time. This meeting, with the kit, will be $20.
