Welcome to the Newsletter!!
I will repeat the recent announcements about schedule changes...for those who missed it.
Let's get to some new scheduling details first...
Beginning on Sunday, September 14, we will be closed on Sundays. Occasionally, when we have out-of-town teachers, we will re-open for certain Sundays. I will let you know when this will happen.
Also, beginning next Wednesday, September 10, our new store hours will be 10am-5pm, in keeping with our standard weekly hours. There will be no crop this Wednesday, as well as on future Wednesdays into fall and winter. We will take another look at the schedule after the holidays. |

Right off the bat, I am telling you all the all the "new stuff" reports will now be listed on Facebook, on a daily basis, as items come in. I am experimenting with videos, and my plan is to post videos about all the products.
Don't belong to Facebook? No problem...just google "AbsolutelyEverything facebook" and you will go right to our page.. Bookmark it, and check it out every day...or more frequently!!
And I am more than happy to take feedback on my video skills...be patient, as I am a novice!! |

Tick Tock--It's a Contest!!
Go to this website, and check out all the entries in the challenge shown on the blog, form August 30...scroll down, it's worth it...all the way to the bottom...there are probably 20 or more samples for inspiration...and then read the article below!!
We are having a "Holiday Clock" event...come in and purchase one of the 19 clocks we have, Tim Holtz -Style. Create a holiday delight inside the clock, return the clock to us, for viewing, by the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and we will have some impartial judges (none of the staff!) The winner will receive one of the new blue Big Shot machines, plus a $50 gift certificate to the store (How great if you won this and made it a gift for someone!!)
Upon returning the clock, you will get the price of the clock restored to your account as a credit (That makes the clock FREE!!) Plus, the clock is yours to take home after December 15, to use in your home decor.
Right, that is not a Christmas clock...but its just an idea starter.
Please remember, we only have 19 of these "contest entries" available. We are happy to do phone orders with cc payments, shipping will be extra, but you must get the clock to us in a timely manner!! (see what I did there?) |

We're Feeling Lucky!! Hope You Are, Too
Come in and "Spin the wheel!" We are starting on Tuesday, right after Labor Day, and we are doing this for the months of September, October, and November (with the exception of any Bag Lady days!!)
Spend at least $25 and you get a chance to spin our very wonderful wheel. Behind each slot there will be assorted goodies. I am pretty sure everyone is a winner!! |

(They are sooo cool that all I can say is Brrr-rrr-rrr !!)
Coming up this week!!
Beginning on Monday, September 13, we are having an entire Dylusional" week. Kate will be doing demos from 11am-2pm, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of that week.) I will be putting together special packages of my favorite items and colors at a special deal...can I say even-specialer?) I will be doing projects all week with her sprays, in her journals, using her stamps and stencils...and I will have a bit of a focus on Halloween and Christmas at different times during the week. Additionally, I will show you how to incorporate her stuff along with other companies' stuff, into mixed media projects. For up-to-date info, follow us on Facebook. |

Beginning on Monday September 29, and for the whole week, we will be going Ga-ga over all things "Distress." so, that means the distress markers, paints, stains, ink pads,and whatever-the-heck else is out there...oh yeah, glitter. There will be specials, and I will be doing demos on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, as before, using and teaching all these products , with some great techniques. Again, check facebook for the updates on this event.

Classes
a few notes...
All classes will need a minimum of three people in order to run, and we will give you a 72 hour notice if we need to cancel, in which case, you may take your refund as store credit or cash/cc refund (usually in the same form that you paid in.)
If you need to cancel a class on your part, here's the deal...
If it is a class taught by us, people here at the store, you need to cancel before 72 hours time, in which case you will receive a refund. Cancellations after this time period will receive the class supplies, and whatever is part of the class handouts. No refunds for cancellations after 72 hours before the class starts.
For visiting teachers, from far or near, there is a no refund policy for all classes. You may give it to a friend to use, if you wish.

Silhouette Ongoing Learning...
We now have a Silhouette group that meets here once a month and they have their own blog. All the info about meetings, what to bring, when to come, can be found there. If you would like to join our group, there is no fee, and you can bring your Silhouette machine and laptop, as we have wifi in the store. Find the Silhouette Blog here.
Note for September--there will be no meeting this month. We will regroup in October, and a notice will appear shortly.
