Here is an update on our holiday store schedule. If there is ever any snow at all, please refer to the facebook page here.
On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, November 26, we are open from 10am until 3pm.
We will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28.
On Saturday, November 29, we are open for Small Business Saturday, and for the "Bag Lady" Day!
Into December, we are open on Christmas Eve from 10am-2pm, and the same hours on New Year's Eve, 10-2 pm. We are closed on Thursday, December 25, Friday, December 26, and Thursday, January 1, 2015.
Important Notice: For anyone who is going to return a decorated clock to be in our contest, the clock is due in the store by the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, November 26. We close at 3 pm that day, as noted above. (Will we accept it if it comes in on the Monday after Thanksgiving?...probably.) You will receive a full refund on the price of the clock. We are displaying the clocks until Monday, December 15, at which time you are free to come in and get it, so you can add it to your own home decor.

Small Business Saturday arrives on November 29 (and it is "Bag Lady Day, too...does it get any better???)
Here is what the American Express company has on their website...
"Card Members will need to either register or add the offer to an eligible American Express Card during a specified period for the specific offer they want to take advantage of."
So, apparently, if you register your card, when you spend $10 or more at a participating store (yes, we are one!) you will get a $10 credit on your amex card...that's like getting free stuff. You can do this up to three times on that day , and I spoke with the people at Amex, and I was told that all three purchases, as long as they are separate purchases, can be done in the same store!!
Just go to "Shop small" and you should run into all the details.
Personally, I was able to go on the site yesterday and register my card, and my husband's card...he has no idea he will be shopping on Saturday!!
As far as "Bag Lady Day" goes, I think most of you know the drill...for those unfamiliar with it...we sell this bag, shown below, for $5, ($7 if you wait 'til the day of the event!) Come in on the fifth Saturday of any month that has one, (this is the final one for 2014) and receive 20% off of whatever you can fit into your bag...(it must stay below the level of the top)
This a perfect day for picking up great gifts, teacher presents, and stocking stuffers. |

There Will Be Prizes!!
We are going to do a drawing from all the bag ladies who shop with us on Saturday, November 29. There will be six lucky winners. We are giving away a Silhouette machine, three big Shot machines, and two fancy prize baskets. Winners will be drawn at random, so everyone has a chance!!
Bring your "bag," specially purchased here at the store (there are a few still available for purchase), and receive 20% off of whatever you can fit into the bag, without going over the top. No other deals apply if you are using your bag lady bag. We are not using the 6-box card on this Saturday.

Your own bag may look a bit different, even if you bought it here a while ago...the style changes every now and then.

| All of these bags, shown below, are already wrapped and beribboned, ready for gift giving. And they are all priced at a 50% discount, and contain a stamp, or stamp set, ink, and paper, for immediate use...some even have Copic markers!!...perfect for keeping young'uns busy at holiday time. We have made some bags especially for younger children. The last time we put these out, they flew like hotcakes (while I have never seen hotcakes fly, I do believe it is a saying that works here.) |

Gift Tag-Making...All Week!!

Silhouette Ongoing Learning...
December Monthly Meeting is next Monday, December 1, 11 am - 1 pm. Bring your machine, computer, coreds, paper, etc. Cathy always has something very cool planned. Check out the website link below.
We now have a Silhouette group that meets here once a month and they have their own blog. All the info about meetings, what to bring, when to come, can be found there. | Last week I showed you the adorable 2015 calendars from Taylored Expressions...of course, they sold right out, so we have a dozen coming in the mail, being shipped last Wednesday...so look for them early next week. Check out the really nice sample that Terri created. It is currently in the store, so you can come tale photos. |

Classes
a few notes...
All classes will need a minimum of three people in order to run, and we will give you a 72 hour notice if we need to cancel, in which case, you may take your refund as store credit or cash/cc refund (usually in the same form that you paid in.)
If you need to cancel a class on your part, here's the deal...
If it is a class taught by us, people here at the store, you need to cancel before 72 hours time, in which case you will receive a refund. Cancelations after this time period will receive the class supplies, and whatever is part of the class handouts. No refunds for cancelations after 72 hours before the class starts.
For visiting teachers, from far or near, there is a no refund policy for all classes. You may give it to a friend to use, if you wish.
