This Saturday is SECOND SATURDAY. We open the doors to Charlotte's Sew Natural at 8:45 a.m. My presentation begins at 9 a.m. All are welcome.
This Saturday I'll be talking more on setting sampler blocks as shown here, as well as using 10" squares (from pre-cut sets) as a source for variety creating gorgeous sampler blocks like the ones we are doing together.
There will be "Show & Share" so feel free to drop in! |

This is one block in the Second Saturday quilt pattern shown in a traditional print, COUNTRY FRENCH from Maywood. I started with a stack of pre-cut 10" squares. That gives me the most variety and is fun to work with. I will be sharing measurements in the FREE Second Saturday class which starts at 9 a.m.

Kim Diehl's SIMPLE WHATNOTS 3 is a 6 month class/club, meeting the afternoon & evenings each second Thursday starting in September and ending in February 2016.
Class members will have first opportunity to purchase the limited edition KITS. These patterns are only available with the purchase of the kit. Kim has reserved their copyrights for future use, and at this time, they are limited to distribution with fabrics only.

In September, we'll start a new SAMPLER QUILT CLASS. It will meet for 12 months, always on the 3rd Thursday of the month, 10 a.m. & 6:30 p.m.
You will make a FEATHERED STAR, using any color fabrics you wish!
We'll have kits for both versions shown here and will be happy to help you with other selections & fabric placements too. Pattern included with class fee, so let us know if you already own this pattern.
First class: Thursday Sept. 17th. |

And on top of everything else I'm trying to get done, I felt compelled to create a trio of cuties using BUCKET BRIGADE from Atkinson Designs. Check out the pattern.
I have used STIFF STUFF, as directed in the pattern, but I used FUSIBLE FLEECE in this trio and it worked just fine!
This BUNNIES BY THE BAY fabric is just tooooo cute!
