Dawn’s Take
“It’s my opinion that the Spinel is an underappreciated gemstone” ~ Dawn Muscio

And she’s not the only one. In this descriptive gemstone overview provided by the Gemological Institute of America, Spinel is highlighted by its rich colors and durable gem properties. Fall in love with this regal gemstone and then stop into the D. Muscio fine jewelry studio to find out how you can incorporate it into your next custom piece!

Jewelry Tip of the Month:
  • Let’s get back to the basics. One great way to preserve your fine jewelry pieces is to store them in a clean and dry place such as a fabric lined box with divided compartments or felt bags. Precious metal and gemstones can sustain damage if stored together.
